Until March 2023. The individual travelers could trek individually without a guide and porter but needed to have all the necessary permits for the treks. The individual travelers had their own freedom during the trekking. But after the 1st of April 2023 Nepal government applied the rules no one can go for trekking without a guide or Porter guide. So now it is totally band solo travel in Mardi Himal trek as well as other destinations.

Mardi Himal Trek traverses through charming villages in the region of Annapurna southern Part of western Nepal, All the villages along the trek have got some pretty good and cozy lodges with good facilities. The prices are around NPR 200 to 500 per night for common rooms.
