Everest Region, also called the Khumbu Region is a great place to experience adventure travel, with the famous Everest Base Camp being its major attraction. The challenging Khongma La Pass (5535 meters), Cho La Pass (5330 meters), and Renjo La Pass (5360 meters) are among these panoramic viewpoints of the Everest Region.
Experience trekkers always love to do more challenging treks and for them, Island Peak (6189 meters) with Everest Base Camp is a perfect trip. Lobuche Peak ( meters) and Pokalde Peak ( meters) are the other interesting trekking peaks of the Everest Region. Mera Peak ( 6476 meters), the highest trekking peak in Nepal combined with Amphu Labtsa Pass ( meters) is another big adventure in Everest Region. The region also offers plenty of difficult and technical climbs like Ama Dablam ( meters) and Chola Tse ( meters). Everest Region also offers some great treks in the lower valleys. Villages in lower valleys provide an excellent opportunity to experience local culture and religion. The Sherpa culture and historical Buddhist monasteries are added attractions of the Everest Region.
