Island Peak Climbing with Everest Base Camp Trek
is a combo of a regular Everest Base Camp Trek and climbing to Island Peak, a popular trekking peak in Nepal. Island Peak is the most sought-after trekking peak because of its altitude of just above 6000 meters and fairly moderate geographical circumstances making it a perfect climbing trip in the Himalayas of Nepal.

Each year more than 300 groups make an effort to scale the summit of Island Peak. This trek offers an excellent opportunity to climb this interesting peak together with an exciting trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar. Besides the adventure trekking, we also get an opportunity to witness the Sherpa villages and ever-so-serene monasteries. With tedious recollections of the trekking earlier, we retrace our route back through Namche to Lukla, and then fly back to Kathmandu.

Island Peak Climbing with Everest Base Camp trek route,
To get to the Island Peak, we take the traditional route to the Everest Base Camp, following the Dudh Kosi valley from Lukla, passing through Namche and Tengboche on to Dingboche. After acclimatization, we then head up the beautiful Imja Khola Valley and then to the Island Peak. The most difficult section of the peak is the section mired with a steep rock and ice wall at a slope of around 45 degrees leading to the narrow summit ridge. However, the magnificent views from the summit are a priceless reward for the efforts put into climbing the peak.

Everest Base Camp Trek, Including Summiting Island Peak - Trip Of A Lifetime.

Visit Himalaya Trek is the best company to choose if you are looking for a unique and exceptional trekking experience in Nepal.

I booked the Everest Base Camp trek, including summiting Island Peak at 6,200m, and an amazing motorcycle tour from Kathmandu to Muktinath. It was their first time organizing such a project, and they gave me the experience of a lifetime. I sincerely loved every minute of my trip.

From the moment I set foot in Kathmandu, Visit Himalaya Trek has been there with me every step of the way, making my experience exactly what I wanted and needed. Their professionalism, service, hospitality, client sensitivity, guidance, and advice are second to none. They always prioritize client safety, your time, and your requirements. They truly have the capability to exceed clients' expectations. The staff and guides, in particular, are exceptional and ensure you have the best time possible. They are truly professional, friendly, open-hearted, and honest people.

You come here for the views and the mountains, but you come back for the people. Outside your comfort zone is where the magic happens, where one finds peace. Visit Himalaya Trek will take you there if you are willing to take the first step.

Thank you again for an amazing experience - especially to Himal, Dorchi, and Rajan.
