Ramdung Peak Climbing Route
Ramdung Peak Climbing trip follows much of the same route as the Rolwaling Valley trek but incorporates the peak summit too. Ramdung peak Climbing trip starts with a day’s drive to Jagat, via Dolakha, Charikot, and Jagat northeast of Kathmandu and to the edge of the Gaurishankar Conservation Area. Start our journey the next day, following a river, through the flat and forested terrain. Head towards the Ramdung Glacier and the Ramdung High Camp (5350m), where you will stay the night before pushing to the summit very early in the morning the next day. The peak is at 5925m so you can’t stay very long at the top, but there will be time to catch the glorious views before descending back to Base Camp.
After some much-needed rest, head towards Tsho Rolpa Lake (4580m).
