You will be engrossed in the morning sightseeing tour around Kathmandu at places of interest on this day for 4-5 hours of enjoyable and impressive tour visiting world heritage sites of temples-monasteries-Stupas with old royal palace courtyard. Kathmandu is steeped with ancient heritage sites and monuments of both Hindu and Buddhist; the morning after breakfast, our tours start with a short drive to Kathmandu Darbar Squire and continue to Bhaktapur Darbar Squire.
Bhaktapur is a medieval city located east of Bhaktapur 3rd, the largest city around Kathmandu valley; this old city was once the capital of Nepal during the great Malla Kingdom from the 12th to 15th centuries.
After a pleasant and exciting time in Bhaktapur, drive to Nagarkot for sunrise and sunset view. Overnight at Nagarkot.
An overnight stop in Bandipur is the best way to split the scenic road trip to Pokhara from Kathmandu. As soon as we leave Kathmandu, the view of rolling hills with Himalayan backdrop opens up in front of us.
Manakamana is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus located on a hilltop in Gorkha District, Nepal. It is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati, who is believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees. The word Manakamana refers to “wish come true.” The cable car is one of the major attractions in the area that connects the town of Cheres in Gorkha district to the Manakamana Temple. It provides a convenient and scenic mode of transportation for tourists and pilgrims visiting the temple.
Bandipur is a medieval trading town perched high above the Marshyangdi Valley. The cobblestone path flanked by Newari-style shophouses is where tourists can witness the daily chores of middle-hill families. A short hike to the Tahni Mai hilltop offers the best sunset view over Manaslu and Ganesh Himal.
After spending the beautiful morning in Bandipur, drive 80 km / 2½ hrs to Pokhara.
The drive is scenic through the series of valleys, with Annapurna and Machhapuchhare looming at a distance. Explore Phewa lakeside market and boating in the evening. Boating is the best way to enjoy the sunset over the Himalayas.
Even though the Lakeside of Pokhara has modern hotels and restaurants, the surroundings are still remote and adventurous. Pokhara is an amphitheater of mountains with a wall of some of the highest snow peaks towards the north. Sightseeing in Pokhara includes visits to several viewpoints and hiking. International Mountain Museum exhibits a lot about mountaineering history, Himalayan culture, geology, flora, fauna, and the changing environment. Tibetan Refugee camp is a living history of the Chinese coupe over Tibet.

After breakfast, drive to Palpa, which takes around 4 hours.
Good morning with short nature programs and activities. After breakfast, drive to Lumbini, taking 3-4 hours to reach Buddha’s birthplace in the comfort of friendly hotels and resorts. Here the temperatures are much warmer like in Chitwan, located on the Mid Far West plain of Nepal, close to the Indian border.
Morning tour around Lord Buddha’s birthplace, which holds a special place in the world of Buddhism. It is also mentioned in the Mahaparinibbana Sutta that the Buddha advised his followers to visit Lumbini. Emperor Asoka of the Magadha Kingdom of India made a pilgrimage in the 3rd Century BC and built a world-famous pillar with an inscription stating,” Here Lord Buddha was born.” Chinese pilgrims Tsen Tsai (4th Century A.D.), Fa-hsien (5th Century A.D.), and Hiuen-Tsang (7th Century A.D.) accounted for their travel to Lumbini mentioning that they witnessed the holy tree, the pond, stupas, and shrines. Hiuen Tsang described the Asoka Pillar as having a horse capital on top of it. The Temple of Maya Devi, mother of Lord Buddha, has been recently renovated under the vigilance of UNESCO. Several foreign monasteries and stupas have been constructed in the Lumbini area.
Starting early morning after breakfast for an enjoyable overland drive to Chitwan National Park, deep dense jungles in the mid-southern lowland of Nepal known as the Terai.
After a scenic drive past many villages and towns, reaching the outskirts of Chitwan National Park, where all nice hotels-lodge and resorts are located, use the best hotels or resorts for 2 overnight stops, lunch, a short introductory tour or nature walks with dinner accompanied by local Tharu culture dance programs.
