Ngima Yangji Tamang was born in Solukhumbu district, which is known as the world’s popular trekking destination in Nepal. Ngima Yangji Tamang completed her High School education from Khumjung Secondary School. Khumjung Secondary School was established in 1961 by Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person to climb Mt Everest with Tenzing Norgay Sherpa.

After completing high school education, Ngima Yangji Tamang followed her father Pemba Tamang’s path, her Father Pemba Tamang guiding the trekking groups to the Himalayas of Nepal for nearly the last 2 decades. What a journey they have been creating, Pemba and Ngima Yangji so much enjoying leading the groups over the Himalayas. Their favorite destination is the Everest Base Camp route because they were born lap of Mt Everest and they grew up seeing Mt Everest from their childhood.
