The Bangladesh Introduction Tour takes you to the capital city of Bangladesh, Dhaka, and to the most popular tourist destinations around the city. After exploring Dhaka, the tour continues to Bogra, which is located about 192 kilometers away from the capital. Bogra is one of the oldest cities in Bengal and is famous for its many ancient Buddhist stupas, Hindu temples, and historic places that belonged to Buddhist kings and Muslim sultans.
During our 4-night, 5-day tour of Bangladesh, we will have the opportunity to visit several world heritage sites including Paharpur Vihara, Mohastangarh, Rajshahi, Puthia Temple City, and Tangail Waving Village. The Bangladesh Introduction Tour itinerary;
Day 01: Arrive in Dhaka, receive at the airport, and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Dhaka Sightseeing and transfer to Bogra stay overnight at Bogra.
Day 03: Excursion Bogra and Paharpur & Mohastangarh – Rajshahi stay overnight.
Day 04: Sightseeing Rajshahi and Puthia and driving back to Dhaka.
Day 05: Departure.
Arrival Dhaka Meet &Greet by our representative at the airport. Transfer to hotel and overnight stay at hotel in Dhaka.
Dhaka Sightseeing visits Lalbagh Fort, Parliament Building, Curzon Hall, and Shaid Minner Kamalapur Buddhist Temple. After Lunch proceed to Bogura. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Bogura.
After breakfast, we will visit Bogra, the most popular place, and continue to drive to Paharpur, which UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site in 1985. Visit to ruins of Paharpur Vihara, which is a treasured heritage of the world. The remains of the most important & largest known monastery south of the Himalayas, built between the 7th century and the 3rd part of the 8th century & a world heritage site.
Return to the hotel for checkout in the afternoon. Visit Mohasthangarh is invariably an ancient fortified city acclaimed to be the oldest settlement and the most prominent archaeological site of Bangladesh. The oldest layer dates back to the 4th century B.C. The ancient Pundranagara, the capital of Emperor Chandragupta, was the founder of the Moyura dynasty. Afternoon Proceed to Rajshahi. Dinner & Overnight stay at a hotel in Rajshahi.
After Breakfast Proceed to Dhaka en-route and visit Puthia Temple City, Tangail Waving Village. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at Dhaka.
After Breakfast transfer to Dhaka airport for your home country or next destination.
