Manaslu Circuit Trek + Larkya Peak + Bardia National Park

Manaslu Circuit Trek + Larkya Peak + Bardia National Park - We had a 4 week trip to Nepal to the above-mentioned destinations. Overall we had a fabulous time in Nepal. Stunning mountain views, fantastic guides, untouched jungles, and the culture. Himal was very responsive from my first letter on which helped a lot to put the program together. I must also say that the program was flexible there was room for changes. For example, a two day stay in Pokhara was not in the original plan but after coming down earlier from the mountains we went there and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. If you looking for a trip to Nepal on very good prices with a reliable company Visit Himalaya Treks is a perfect choice. Barnabas Toth and Family from Hungary

Manaslu Circuit Trek + Larkya Peak + Bardia National Park

Nepal Cultural Tour - We had a two week trip combining fascination cultural sites and beautiful Himalayan moutain views. We visited cultural sites in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Pokhara and took in magnificent vistas from Nagarkot and Australian camp and the scenic mountain flight. Himal did a great job of tailoring the trip to our desire to mix culture and mountain scenery. His guide Nabin is a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of this wonderful country including Hindu and Buddhist traditions and political history. The views from Australian camp (teahouse trek) were stunning and it was great fun to mix with other tavelers from Europe and SE Asia. Dave Campbell & Anita Poe from USA

Great time doing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Great time doing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek - Recently finished a great 2.5 week vacation with the team at Visit Himalaya Treks seeing Kathmandu and trekking to Annapurna Base camp. Everyone on the team we dealt with was a pleasure to talk to and very professional. It's a company started by former Nepali guides who are really knowledgeable. In planning the trip we mainly dealt with Himal who was very helpful and patient with the dozens of questions we had. Once we landed in Nepal we were greeted at the airport by Rajan who took us to our hotel and handled the rest of our planning. The hotel they had brought us to and had a great breakfast as well as chai and espresso. The next morning we were taken by our very knowledgeable guide for the day, Naveen, to a number of sights in Kathmandu. We were originally planning for Everest Base Camp, but after a day and a half at the airport due to some weather and air traffic issues on the flight to Lukla we would have been left with no buffer days on our return, so made the decision to do Annapurna instead. Rajan and his team had already set up the itinerary and made all the necessary arrangements even during the high season. They also included a mountain flight so we'd still get to see Everest up close. The trek itself was amazing, we were fortunate to have great weather so had spectacular views ever morning, and particularly on the day we went to Base camp we had clear views in every direction. The food/chai was also consistently great, and having hiked all day made it taste better. The only negative from the trip was the delays at the airport that appear to be quite common, but of course not the fault of the team at Visit Himalaya Treks. Just something to factor when scheduling flights. The whole team we dealt with were genuinely interested in making sure we had a good time. Since we had decided to do ABC at the last minute in peak season we were not expecting to easily find lodging. Our guide, Balkumar, would go out of his way to run ahead to the villages he knew would be busy and make sure we always had a room to sleep in, even when people trekking faster than us could only find space in dining rooms. He was also great at managing the itinerary based on our pace and ability to walk each day, pushing us on days when we had extra energy and could shorten the next day's trek, and stopping us on time when we were tired. Our porter, Purna, would help out with guiding us when Balkumar had to run ahead. The quality of lodges varied village to village, but we were consistently put up in the better lodges with the best views throughout the trek, and the hotel in Kathmandu was great. Great time doing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek

I always wanted to see Mt. Everest and Himal and his team made this dream come true and it was better than I could ever imagine. Himal makes sure all your questions are answered via email before you go and make you feel safe. Rajan was incredible nice and helpful and made us feel welcome from the minute we met him at the airport. Ram and Dawa our guide and porter were just amazing. They made every minute on the trek very special. Ram shared all his knowledge about Nepal`s culture and about every peak we saw along the way. I have no words to thank them for this great experience and I will sure be back to do another trek with them. Marina Neiva Alvim & Claudia Brito from Brazil

Well organised amazing trip!

Well organised amazing trip! Our friends recommended us to use Himal’s trekking company because their family and their friends’ family all had wonderful experiences with Himal’s trekking company. We are a family of 3 and my daughter is 9 yr. So we were looking for a more soft trekking tour combined with cultural experience. Himal responded patiently and quickly to all my most tedious questions. He recommended a great itinerary for us. We were welcomed at the airport with flower necklaces by Raj and was transported to our hotel on the day of arrival. We are very impressed with the organisational skills of Himal’s team. The guides and cars were always on time waiting for us at hotel every single day. The culture guide in Kathmandu - Nabin was extremely knowledgeable. He introduced us a lot of interesting facts about Buddhism and Hinduism as well as Nepali’s culture and politics. He is currently a member of a committee in helping to restore traditional culture and community bonding in rural mountainous communities in Nepal. He is very inspiring! Our trekking guide Razz was a cheerful and helpful young man. He was always willing to help my daughter and me by carrying our backpacks, walking behind us to ensure we do not fall, getting rid of leeches for us and introducing us fresh fruits and veggies on the trek. He even taught us several Nepali poker games. The cultural dinner at the end of trip was very entertaining. All of us had such a stupendously wonderful time in Nepal. The amazing views and the welcoming Nepali hospitality made it extremely hard for us to say goodbye. We will be back again and that’s for sure!  Yu Chen and family from Hong Kong

Well organised amazing trip!

Namaste, Himal and VHT Team, A great trek has been finished, but not in mind my heart and mind. Thank for sending such a wonderful crew!!! The best I've ever had during a trekking tour. I'm happy that everything went well, no sickness, the weather could have been better. We got quite wet several times and being at an altitude of 5600 m and seeing nothing, is not that funny. I was very happy with all the food and tasty dal bhat, I felt light and healthy. Shambu is a good cook and -as everybody - very helpful. I would like to do the same Trek GHT from Jumla to Jomsom against - next year at a later date, mid-September and October. Many thanks for all the help from Ishwar , Shambu and the boys!!!!! Warm regards, Gisela Behrndt Yoga am Kieferbach

Amazing trip to the last forbidden kingdom – Upper Mustang

Amazing trip to the last forbidden kingdom - Upper Mustang - No matter how many times you’ve been to Nepal it never looses its fascination... Is it the breathtaking views, the beautiful monastries or the care taking people and family you meet once you get there that makes you come back year after year? I guess in the end it is a mix of everything. This year I went with my mum on a trekking in the last forbidden kingdom - Upper Mustang, which offers a great variety of different things: stunning views, beautiful hikes, very old monastries, palaces, caves, fossils, Yartung festivals and last but not least insights into the Tibetan/Nepali culture and lifestyle. All in all it has been an amazing experience. A special thanks also go to Himal Tamang and our crew/family Ngimakaji Sherpa, Loknath Karki and Dilli Kumar Khatri, who made sure that we had a fantastic trip and always had a helping hand for my mum (i.e. carrying a backpack or providing support when crossing rivers) – Dhanjabat  - Jennifer Ebling & Francoise Ebling from Switzerland

Amazing trip to the last forbidden kingdom – Upper Mustang

We just decided to go for trekking ( Poon Hill trekking) in Nepal 2 weeks before going there. So we didn’t really know much information, but Himal provided us details and choices, so that was very helpful. Thanks to Visit Himalayas treks, we enjoyed our first trek in Nepal. We did not need much preparation as they advised an easy but very nice trek for us. They took care of us from airport to mountains, and fine tuned the path as well to our capabilities. During our visit we have a very good guides. Thx to Balkumar and Ramesh 😀 they have us all the details and took care of us, so we felt safe and enjoyable. Even it was a quite short trip, but we have gotten best experiences and luck. I would not hesitate to ask them for services again next time. Roong & Sylvain from Thailand
