The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is located in the Himalayas, bordered to the north by the Republic of China and to the south, east, and west by the Republic of India. Nepal represents a blend of ancient history, vibrant cultures, and scenic grandeur. Nepal’s main geographical features include snow-capped peaks, lower mountains, mid-hills, and fertile plains of tropical jungles.

Nearly one-third of the total length of the Himalayas and 8 of the world's 14 highest peaks including Everest (8848 meters), the highest peak of the world lies in Nepal. Nepal is world famous for its Trekking Holidays. The landlocked country covers an area of 147,181 sq. kilometers ranging from 70 meters to the highest point at 8848 meters above sea level.

Nepal's popularity as a tourist destination has increased vastly over the years. Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity due to its unique geographical position and attitudinal variation.
